today alone for the first time in years
no one to share the love inside
to be a lone on such a day as this
no one to wrap my arms around
no one to wrap their arms around me
my thoughts fall to you as they always do
i wonder if today will be happy for you
could you find happiness with me

could i make you feel love every day
for the rest of your life

how did casual attraction
become so much more
